Sadistic Spiral

So, it's been awhile since I've posted!  I've been busy busy busy, what with Uni starting up, earthquakes, health issues, car trouble, hurricanes, and FASHION!  I just completed my first outfit design for someone else's uses, and I must say, it was a lot of fun!  With that being said, I figured I might as well walk you through a bit of my design process.
Sakura Imoru sent me this information to start from:
"As you can see from her EvElopedia-Entry and her Blog Sakura has quite a history. What it doesn't mention though is that during the last months Sak became kind of corrupted living in that decadent and hedonistic world of the Empire herself.

She has started to collect slaves of Amarrian origin (preferring former holders or people who worked for them) and has taken her hunger for vengeance on a more personal level, treating them like shit and stuff (She has become quite a sadist, her slaves only recieve some love from her when they accept being Sakura's animals/pets, abandoning their humanity as seen in the blog). Her looks should somehow show all of this... being head of a Khanid house herself as well as her hatred for everything Amarr and her (kind of new/awakened) sadistic nature."
So, this was very different from the outfits I usually work on, which are just random ideas that I try to turn into 'omg it looks cool!'.  Also, I was supposed to be going to sleep, but my brain started to churn ideas around, and I finally had to drag my laptop back over to my desk and start to pour some of those creative juices out.  I wound up with this:
I think my mouse must've been dying or I had too much Coke, because those jittery lines still make me wince.  Anyhow, Sakura liked the basic idea of the dress, but had some tweaks.  Shorter skirt!  Longer gloves!  Kinky boots!  Also, we had a discussion about the 'missing' spiral of fabric around the dress (Yes, it's one long slit that wraps around!), and the decision was made to have it show more, but use transparent fabric.  I hear and obey!
With the main layout of the dress pretty much set, Sakura just wanted something to make the gloves and shoulders pop a little more.  I made like a Final Fantasy character designer and added buckles to everything!
We were both pretty happy with the design at this point, but Sakura was hoping for a front & back view, and I was eager to get the chance to redo those ugly lines, as well as put some more polish on the image.  We agreed on a new template to use, courtesy of  Dualmask of DeviantArt.

Ultimately, a lot of time passed, I worked really slow, and then this is what I had after the dust cleared:

That right sleeve on the rear view still bugs me, but I was pretty sure I could redraw it a thousand times and never be happy with it, so I left it as is.  Other than that, I couldn't be more pleased with the results.  This is easily the most work I've put into an outfit, and I'm very glad it seems to show.

Anyway, if you'd like to work on an outfit with me, drop me an email!  I can't make any promises, since it's just for fun on my end, and I have real life to fend off too, but we'll see what we can work out.  Later loves!

A Few Outfits to Welcome You!

What better way to open a closet than with CLOTHING?!  These are just a few misc. outfits in Alta's closet.
This 'Shark Attack Victim' is actually one of my favorites... I guess I'd have to figure out what sort of large creature to name it after if I was going to use it in EVE.

Then I have a crowd favorite, which I actually designed before I played EVE.  I named it 'Industrial Hazard', but in EVE, it quickly became the 'Barrage Dress'

Anyhow, just a sampling I'd put together over the last couple days!  I hope you enjoy, and welcome to the blog!
